A quick dispatch from book launch.

A quick dispatch for you from the throes of book promo!
At the moment, I’m publishing more videos and fewer newsletters. I'm trying new things, being open to change (shudder…), doing interviews, and scheduling virtual coffee chats as I plug my debut book, MONEY PROUD: The Queer Guide to Generate Wealth, Slay Debt, and Build Good Habits to Secure Your Future.

If you're new to the newsletter, hello! Reply and let me know where you're based.
If you enjoy today's email, consider forwarding it to a friend.

Book publishers typically don't pay for you to go on a tour, so you get to decide for yourself how you want to navigate the first few months of a book release. Here's what I've been up to so far.
After a short press blitz the week of pub day (December 30), I hopped on a plane to Las Vegas for CES with my CNET Group team. Then it was back home for a couple days before flying back out to Boise, Idaho, where I stayed with a friend and did my first book event.

The event was great. On the recording side, we had some A/V issues, so we're seeing what's salvageable. (I think we made it about ten minutes into the conversation before the first Heated Rivalry reference came up.)
We hosted the event at Oldspeak, a book bar. Gorgeous venue! Also squeezed in a hike on the trip.

Then it was down to San Francisco for some broadcast press and a whiff of digital nomadism. I stayed in the Castro, worked remotely for a few days, and soaked up some queer history at the local museums and bookstores.
The Friday morning TV interview went great -- we love a prop moment! -- and I made some good connections for future SF visits.

I flew home to LA, then went into a photoshoot the next day for some extra headshots for magazine pitches. My guy Cam in North Hollywood is incredible, nicest dude ever.
Here's our first print spread in the Jan/Feb 2026 issue of Out magazine.

We got some financial press in the mix, too, with a profile that dropped in MarketWatch earlier this week.
Travel excitement aside, the best part about this year so far has been meeting new people and hearing their reactions to MONEY PROUD. It's been amazing to hear readers around the country (and world!) share their aspirations, personal stories, and experiences with money.
Feeling grateful to be a vehicle for this work and share it with others.
Up next
I have some spring book press, am finalizing next trips, and -- perhaps most importantly -- am taking a VACATION. 🌴
I'm also building something... Money Proud: The Course.
Y'all know I love a guided video series, and this course is where I'll be delivering the Money Proud system in an on-demand format -- with a mega-convenient budgeting swipe file, obvs.
Add yourself to the waitlist here. It arrives this spring!
